nEXO is an international collaboration that aims to understand the nature of the neutrino and, through that, to better our understanding of the universe.
You can find all about it at https://nexo.llnl.gov/.
I was part of this collaboration for almost a decade and I dedicated my (other) skills to it until a couple of years ago. I have many friends and colleagues in it and I made many new connections. To this day, I still work with some of these researchers. Even parts of my PhD thesis were developed in support of nEXO.
While looking for a suitable name for this new enterprise, I decided to pay homage to this incredible endeavor and its people by drawing inspiration from their name and logo.
Thus, NEXO Timepieces was born.
